Luke's Early Christmas Present
I'm going to apologize in advance, buddy. I have no idea how to gift wrap an ass kicking. I'll just wrap a bow around it and hang 50 points on top of it.
In case you were thinking you would be celebrating a fantasy football championship on Dec 25th, just remember the reason for the season and move on. It's better that you not get your hopes up.
I don't know... maybe I'm being a little harsh. Do you want me to bench my quarterback or something so it will hurt less when the game is over?

How Does Her Garden Grow
We have a new dog. Her name is Daisy. You have no idea how long it took to get her still enough to take a picture of her face.
If you couldn't tell from the face, she's a miniature Schnauzer. White with black eyes. It's amazing how much instinct they show during play. She just gets into this pose.
She's adorable when she plays like this. That leaf was just ASKING for it when the wind blew it.
Yesterday, she gave us quite a scare. She ran in to the room (leaning badly to her right) and just collapses on my lap next to Grace. She wasn't breathing and was completely limp. I take her outside and gave her the Heimlich maneuver and she comes to. She purged her system and just laid there for an hour on her side panting. She's fine now, but that was scary.
We really hope that she will make a lasting pet. Our first experience didn't go well when Smokey decided to go crazy and start attacking us. Maggie was great, but was just too big to have around kids. She's a great dog, but she belongs outside where she is now.
